Never thought I'd break this chain
That binds you and me
Brute force wasn't enough
I tried loosening it little by little
And it did the trick

Week by week it's getting weaker
And now it's like it never exists
Everyday I think less of you
And I can say that soon
I'll definitely be over you

And before that time comes
Let me say these for the last time

From the start I knew you're something else
You made me wait even without asking me too
You made little memories flashback everyday
From day to night you're always on my mind

I felt like you're everything that I've wished for
With you I wouldn't ask for more
For you I'm willing to risk it all
And there's no way that I'm going to hurt you

Never thought I'd wake up from this night
Where I can see you and me
Reality is within my reach
I tried to extend as much as I could
Too bad it wasn't enough

Day by day I'm slipping faster
And I fell straight to the ground
Now I think less of you
And I can say that soon
I'll definitely be over you
