RP#5: Year Ender Post

This is about what happened to me in the year 2008

Here's a list of what am I going to talk about

-School
-Family
-Love life
-Personal Growth

School: 2008 was a great school year for me
even though I had my worst term in the beginning of the year
I was able to bounce back in the succeeding 3 terms
Especially in the 3rd term which was June-September
I had no failing grades :D

In this year also I felt I am a college student already
I mean I experienced the "College Life"
Like drinking and smoking
Plus I also had my first bar experience here

It was a tough school year for me
But still I managed to pull it off
Even though there were sleepless nights
It's all worth it :D

Family: 2008 was a not so great year for our family

In the beginning of the year
It is the prime of the issue between Anne and her boyfriend

At May a couple of BIG changes are made
Anne is enrolled in Pasig Catholic College (PCC)
We decided that I I'll be staying in the Burg when the new term comes

Therefore since June 2008:

Anne and Mom lived in Pasig
I lived at the Burg (@Vito Cruz)
T-Tin and T-Tel were the ones who stayed in Cavite

We only had weekends to spend time together
And sometimes it doesn't even happen
Because either my Mom or Anne has to do something
That will cause their failure
To come home to Cavite for the weekend

With all of these things given
Our quality time with each other really suffered
But it did affected us all in a good way

Not a great year but it is okay
And everything is stable right now

Love life: I did not had any productive love life this 2008
In fact I only had one relationship this year
Because I want to be on a serious relationship now
I had troubles in finding the right girl
But when it came
It did not last a long time
After it I said to myself
"Thought it was my time but I guess not yet" :D

Then after that I am back in the looking process
It is May when we broke up
And it is almost January
So I've been single for 6-7 months already

Time really flies when you are having fun

I mean I really had fun being single
Up to the 5th month
But now I am starting to get bored on being single

But because I want a serious relationship
I am willing to wait for it
But I am hoping that it will come soon

And I really like someone right now
Hope that we can work things out regarding this :D

Personal Growth: I grew rapidly in the year '08
Mainly it is because I moved in the condo
And lived away from my family

Literally I lived independently
Together with my elementary friends (Rovin and Peping)
Plus Peping's 2 brothers (Kuya Iking and Kuya Paeng)

Here's a short list of what I learned in this experience so far

- Discipline
- Time-Management
- Budgeting
- Cooking my own food

Basically, pretty much about everything about taking care of myself

This experience was really fun
Bonding with my roommates
Drinking beer while watching Friends or a movie
Doing the "boys talk"

I mean these are a couple of things
That I can only do there
And no way that I can do when I am here in Cavite

But even with those things
We still manage to get passing grades

And how can I forget
Drinking beer while doing a project :D

That's pretty much about my 2008
I am so thankful for everything that happened in that year

And for my failures and defeats

No regrets, just lessons learned :D

EP#19: That's So Gay Dude

This about the gayest thing that I have ever done

This happened at MOA's department store

I was with my mom
And T-Tel is inside the fitting room

My mom is also going to try out some clothes
But she said that she's going to check out on T-Tel
And then I will fall in line for her

Having no other choice
I took the clothes from her hand
Then started falling in line

At the start it was fine
Because there's no one next to me

And this pretty girl came
And she was in line next to me

I wonder what she's thinking about what I am doing

I hope she thinks that how a gentleman I am
To be able to do stuffs like that
And not think that I am gay

Because I am not

As time passes by I am in the entrance of the fitting room
I saw my mom and signaled that she should take over
Guess what she only laughed at me

Then the saleslady told me that I can't come any further
So I just let the pretty girl overtake my slot
And after a minute my mom came to me
And took the clothes

Well that's probably the gayest thing I've ever done in my life

EP#18: Jaen, Nueva Ecija 12/23/08

This is about our visit at Jaen, Nueva Ecija
Where we visited our grandmother

I can't remember when is the last time we went there
According to T-Tel she was already in 4th year high school then
So therefore I am in 2nd year when we last came there

Let me start with our departure from Cavite
It was only me and T-Tin who left by the way
And we planned to leave at 4:00AM
But we left Cavite at 6:00AM
So we need to hurry
We arrived at Pasig at 6:45AM
That's amazingly fast
Because usually it takes us 2 hours to get there

When we arrived
Everyone is good to go

We are on a convoy
Composed of 2 cars plus a van

It is in the van where I rid
Together with Tito Sammy
And the rest of my cousins and 2 of my sisters

I am seated at the front
Beside the driver's seat

Having only an hour and a half of sleep
I still didn't sleep throughout the trip
But instead I am the one who makes jokes
I don't know but even though I lack sleep
The energy is still there
Even though some are sleeping
I just keep on talking to someone

Then at the first gas station at NLEX
Is our first stop over
Which is at Petron

It is the worst stop over
There are so many people
But there are no pretty girls in sight
As in zero
Oh well that's life

We were able to reach Jaen, Nueva Ecija
In just 2 hours or 2 and a half
Pretty fast, because there's no traffic


Then when we arrived
After seeing our grandmother
And resting for a while

We did picture taking
Because it is a really good place
And I had tons of ideas as usual

I will try to post some here as well

Then we finshed our picture taking
We headed back upstairs and had lunch

The food was great
It was all fun that day

But the fun is just getting started

After lunch, our parents headed to the market
So it is us the teens who are left together with T-Tin
To kill boredom I thought of playing
A game of Taguan Tsinielas

Unlike when we were kids playing that game
I must say that this time it is very challenging
Because we are all grown ups
And have better skills right now

Then we played that for about an hour and a half

Then we all got tired of playing it

So we looked for another game to play
We came up with Pinoy Henyo
Because there are only few of us who still wants to play

We didn't have groups anymore
But instead we played individually
The one with the most points wins

I won this game
How smart am I :D

But it was also tough
And fun as well

After this we rested
And had merienda
Then had a family picture taking
Then left Nueva Ecija

On the way home
We experienced traffic in Bulacan
And we had diiner at KFC at NLEX

There's no difference which regards
To the pretty girls to see
There's still nothing to see

But this stop over is better than the first one
Because of two things that happened here

First is when I went to the Restroom
I heared someone who is umiire
And he is very very loud
Then while I am at the urinal
There are two guys who just came
And also heared the man who is umiire
Then one of them said “Ano ba naman yon?”
Deep inside I was laughing all around

Second one is when I got back at the van
T-Tel said “Na miss mo na kalahati ng buhay mo”
I thought there was some pretty girls who went there
But no no no no
It was Kuya Ivan who made a very funny and embarassing mistake
Our van is a Lite Ace which is colored red
He went to a RED Vanette (which is not our car)
And opened the door
He was surprised that he saw a whole family in there
Then he realized it is the wrong van
So he just said sorry and closed the door

We are all laughing out loud about that

What a unforgettable experience for him

Well we expected the trip to be boring
But it turned out to be very fun
Just having the time to spend with one another
And be like kids again for quite some time
No problems, no worries
Just pure fun and excitement

That pretty much made it a pleasant visit to our 92 year old grandmother

RTP#7: Should I Go For It?

This is about something that I am very confused about

I am afraid too take the risk
Knowing myself I am a person who loves to take risks
But this time I am having second thoughts of taking it

Literally it is make or break
I am so afraid to lose what we have
But I want to take it to the next level

Okay let me describe this girl first

She is pretty
Nice
Fun to be with
Interesting
Simple
Sexy
Smart
Lovable

Pretty much what every guy wants

But when I told my cousin and siblings about her

My cousin said that I should really try
My elder sibling said nothing about it, but she's ok with it
My younger sibling can't believe it that she is the girl I'm referring to
And she is really excited about us getting together

But I don't know what to do
It is just too risky

What do you think should I go for it?

EP#17: Merry? Christmas @ Cavite

This is about the Christmas Day dinner we had
At our place in Cavite

Almost all of us were there

Here I can say is noisier
Because of the four kids
Let's just say mainly it is because of Cobe (Tata Prince's son)
He was like having a heart-attack when he sees gifts

Then the distribution of gifts began

Then after setting the table
We ate dinner

All are having fun talking

Then all of sudden
Lolo Dad came

*// He was telling us to take care of our grandma
because he is heading to Palawan for 5 days to work

He approached T-Tel
And said "Oh ano magbabantay ka ba sa mommy mo?"
She was not able to reply with words
She replied only with only with a gesture
Symbolizing I don't know
Then he said

"Kung ayaw mo sumagot ka ng maayos
hindi yung gaganyan ganyan ka(imitating T-Tel's act)
para makahanap ako ng ibang magbabantay"

All of us in the living were in a state of shock

But Uncle Tito and my mom saved us
The three of them talked about it

And my mom will be in duty today

And we (me and T-Tel) will be tomorrow

Well after he left
The only thing that I was able to say is
"Merry? Christmas"

Then here's Papa Toy
Getting stressed that his daughter and her family
Is stucked in traffic
And lost his cool a little
That doesn't happen very often

Again the only thing that I was able to say is
"Merry? Christmas"

Still we had a merry christmas here in Cavite
But merrier in Pasig

EP#16: Merrier Christmas @ Pasig

This is about what happened on Christmas Eve at Pasig

While waiting for Christmas to come
This is at around 9:30PM

I and my cousins just played this Elemental Tower Defense
And before we knew it
Someone is calling us already to eat

When I came out of the room
It is exactly 12:00AM in the living room
And in the dining room it is only 11:55PM

So I said "Merry Christmas na doon sa loob"
Being the usual joker that I am

Then after taking food from our mini buffet
I went back inside at the living and ate there
I had 3 rounds of eating
That's how good the food was

And the gift distribution started

Then we played Pinoy Henyo again
And T-Tin is already taping us
Because of the way we ask questions

Well I was able to answer this time
At 1 minute and 10 seconds
And I asked pretty decent questions
Better than I did in Nueva Ecija

That's pretty much how it ended too

All are just having fun
Talking with one another
Sharing laughs and stuffs

Simple yet meaningful Christmas

RP#4-2: One More Crash!!!

This is about my reattempt on beating the all time leader in Eternal Red
I made it but the game crashed again so I was not able to submit my score again

But here is a screenshot of the All-Time Scores List on the Left
And MY score on the right



Well the picture is not clear

The All-Time Leader "Maodox" has a score of 2,192,048
And I got a score of 2,324,438

So it should be my name on the top of the list

I ain't playing once again

I know for myself that I made it
And I am the current leader of this game
Probably one of the best who ever played this game

RP#4-1: Eternal Red-- Crashed!!!

This about the game that I played
At newgrounds and at kontraband

A defense game and also a shooter
You can bulid turrets and floor traps
And give your character a gun

Here are a bunch of tips:

Your turrets should only be machine guns
With range 1, damage 10 and attack rate 10
Cheap yet high-damaging even on flying enemies

Floor traps at start should be like this
spike,slow,spike,slow,spike,spike
Then when you want to continue from lvl 70
Make it slow,spike,slow,spike,slow,spike

Use only 2 cash guns
And when already finished buying everything
Replace it with two machine guns again

Buy a shotgun max it out
Then aim at the center
Click rapidly
Let the splashing bullets do the job
Don't follow the enemy once it pass you
Stay at one place
Let your turrets and traps finish it

My Enter Red Experience:

Here's how it ended


It crashed!!! I ended up submitting my high-score
Through email and followed the instructions
I hope they would really add my score on their list

My final score was 2,039,700 (should be 4th on the All Time List)
But with 26 lives left
The All Time highest score is around 2,190,000
So if I was able to finish the game
I will be the All Time score leader of that game

Somehow I am disappointed
But I'll play it one more time
Just to set the All Time scoring record

EP#15: A Day at the Burg

This about my enrollment day which happened yesterday
Knowing that there would be a long line
I woke up early but not as early that I supposed to

I started preparing myself before 6:00AM
I alarmed my cellphone at 4:45AM

Well I just packed my bag
Because I'm also going to sleep at Alah's place

I just took some clothes and a towel then my laptop
Then got dressed up
Fixed my hair
And washed my face and tooth brushed my teeth
I'm ready to go

Upon arriving at the spot where I am waiting for the bus
I saw this very familiar friend of mine
Which is also my cousin, Justine
We rid the bus together
And the talking didn't stop

Just like what happened to me and Kim
It's like the time given is not even close
In order for us to completely exchange stories with one another

As usual it is Justine
So it is all fun
Like both of us doesn't have any problems
Talking about anything and everything

At 7:45AM I arrived at the Burg
I took a bath then tried to wait for someone to wake up for a little chat
But there isn't any who woke up
So I just left the Burg
Then headed to my school to enroll

Being free again
Upon getting down from the FX
I lit my Dunhill Frost :D
And smoked while walking to the school

Then when I arrived
I did the first two steps
It took me only two minutes for that
Then I went to the gym
To check how long is the line already

To my surprise there isn't any line
So I went out of the gym
And there was Guiller
Just talked to him for a while
Then I thought the canteen was open
But it is not
So I turned around and went to the treasurer's office
There was this short line
But I manged to finish enrolling at around 10 minutes
Compared to the hour and half of the previous terms

So after enrolling I immediately went back to the Burg
Then there is Kuya Paeng who is already awake
Then came Kuya Iking and Rovin

I asked Kuya Iking to check my program
He said it is ok
So I'll be continuing what am I doing for now
Knowing I'm on the right track

It was one noisy morning at the Burg
Then at around 10:30AM Peping woke up
He told me that he also did what I did
Which is he did not also sleep for 2 days
Because he was doing his 3000 word essay

He became sick after it though
Unlike me who just overslept and missed my defense :D

Then after he enrolled he went back to the Burg
With him is 3 bottles of San Mig Strong Ice beers
So we did it like we usually do
Which is watching Friends with a beer on hand

After watching we both fell asleep
And at around 4:30PM
I left the Burg

Well I pretty much missed the whole thing
The talking, Friends marathon and drinking

It is really good to be with those guys again
For quite some time :D

RTP#6: Only 3 Times A Week

This is about my school schedule for the next term
Which I don't like by the way
But I got no choice
Because I am only left with this

Due to the technical problems that MyMapua
Is always experiencing every pre-enrollment

But so far this is the worst schedule that I got

It ain't that bad you know

I just don't like it

I only have 3 school days which are Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
Let me start breaking down with the subjects
That I am going to have
In these three long days

7:30AM - 9:00AM : Math22
9:00AM - 10:30AM: Vacant
10:30AM- 12:00PM: Hum10
12:00PM- 1:30PM : Hum11
1:30PM - 3:00PM : COE116

And every Wednesday and additional class

4:30PM - 7:30PM : COE116L

That is the big difference maker
Every Wednesdays I'll be in school for 12 hours

Glad I still managed to get 13 units
And yes I am ready for this term

RP#3: Welcome J-Rich

This is about that trade that recently happened
In the NBA, which involves my Phoenix Suns

Yes, I've been a huge fan since Steve Nash joined
And since then we had made numerous changes in our roster

Which includes Joe Johnson for Boris Diaw (which is a very bad trade)
And Shawn Marion for Big Shaq
And signing Grant Hill

Look at them right now
Joe Johnson is the star player of the Hawks
And Diaw after winning the most improved player award
During the season where Amar'e is injured
Is very inconsistent and soft

This is like my wish has come true

Because if you are going to ask me
In the Suns roster who am I going to trade

It would be Raja Bell and Boris Diaw

Which both got traded for the athletic Jason Richardson
It is like acquiring a Vince Carter like of player

The previous dunk champion
Who can also shoot the 3 ball
Is definitely a good addition to our team

Plus we are lacking the athletcism that Shawn Marion brought to us
But with J-Rich in our team we definitely got it back

In fact in his first game as a Sun
He scored 21 points
And had two dunks
One came from an alley-oop from LB
And one came from beyond half-court pass from Nash
Which only happens now if LB is running
Unlike the past years
You'll even see a alley-oop

And also with his addition
Dragic does't have to play a lot of minutes
Because with him in the SG slot
LB can play the PG spot
And Nash can rest longer

I am definitely feeling better
For the Suns championship dreams right now
If they can start beating the West Titans
Such as Lakers, Hornets, Jazz and Spurs

I think we are going to see
The Suns once again
In the Western Conference Finals
Or even win a championship, hopeully

RP#2: 2nd Term Evaluation

This is all about what happened in my previous term

Well this is the term
Where I didn't study that much
But instead I went into having a good time

This term is a record setter for me
For the largest number of nights
Which I was not able to sleep
Because I am finishing
Projects, assignments and Lab reports
Litterally the last night before the deadline
Which is I think 6
Which includes 2 consecutive sleepless days

It is also where
I experienced
Seeing the LRT close at 11:00PM
Then reoperate at 4:00AM or 5:00AM
This didn't happened once
But I think three times

And also I was not able to have any savings this past term
Because of the shopping day that we are having every Monday

In this term also
I've been drinking a lot
Especially late through the term
Averaging 2 times a week
I am drinking

And I smoked
For about 5 weeks
The first 5 weeks
But afterwhich I switched
To drinking

We are usually drinking
While we are watching Friends
Me and Peping even finshed 2 seasons
In about 2 weeks I think

Sometimes we are doing our school works
While we are watching this
But what I love about this term
Is that I learned to discipline myself
And face the consequences of my acts

Literally I crammed 80% of this term
But at the end of the term
By being lucky

I only had one failing subject
Which is a minor lab subject
Where our professor is a pain in the ass
Not a terror but very demanding

I was able to pass Calculus
Which is the one I am expecting to fail in
I don't know how
But our prof might have given us a "Christmas Tres"

My grades aren't high but passing
At some point
I must give credit to my hard-work
And determination to be able to do my school works
Even if time is running out

Still I haven't learned proper time management

Still have a lot to improve
Still need to grow
Still need to be better

I think this incoming term
Would be tougher

To survive this
A good schedule
Will definitely
Give me an edge

And I must study now
Do things ahead of time

So easy to say
But I'll try my best
To do these things

EP#14: First Job Experience

This is about the program that I am currently doing now

If you have read my previous post
Which includes doing a program for Kuya Marvin
I must say he is my first client

Let me introduce him first

Kuya Marvin is my eldest sister's (T-Tin) boyfriend
And his family is the owner of the Chefoo Restaurant
A Chinese restaurant located here in Cavite City

That business went through a lot
It's old structure even got burned
And they just rebuilt it
And it looked better than the burned one

Currently he is working at their restaurant
As a chef and somehow the manager
And he thought of something that would definitely
Make things easier for the restaurant

That's when he envisioned having a fast-food like system in their resto
And he thought of having a program which enables them
To add orders and store them into a computer
And also he wants to have a program
That would track their sales
For the day, the week, the month and the year

Here is the part where I'll be involved

He talked to me about this
When we were at Jojoy's (my cousin) Debut
Last October 25, 2008

Undergoing my C# class this term
I said Yes and not expecting something in return

But he said that he will pay me
With his 2 month salary
If I'll get the job done

So I talked to almost everbody about this

The common question is
How much is his salary for a month?

Good question, but until now
I don't know the answer yet

Then one time at the Burg
Me and Kuya Paeng had a little talk
And I shared this to him
And he commented on this like
"Job experience na yan, kasi babayaran ka na eh"

I realized that it is true
This is my first job experience
And I could add this on my resume

At the age of 17 I was able to make a program
That made an impact to the business of my client

I think that's something BIG

As of now I already finished the first part
Which is adding orders

But the second part is definitely
Much harder than the first
Because I still don't know how to do it yet
And that's what I am trying to figure out right now

After finishing the program
And recieving my reward

I am currently on a 12 month
Laptop share paying to my mom
I am paying Php1,200.00 per month
Currently in the 4th month

I am planning
To settle it
By paying an advance 8 months
Which is going to cost me Php9,600.00

Unsure of my reward
I asked my sister T-Tin
About Kuya Marvin's salary
But she doesn't know anything about it as well
I followed up
"Lalampas kaya ng Php10,000.00 per month"
She replied "Oo naman"

After hearing that
I immediately planned
What am I going to do with
The huge excess money

What I thought about is
Buying a PSP for myself
On second thought
I think I should replace
My old and broken PS2 with a new one

Here is my reason of still choosing
PS2 rather than PSP

Yes, PSP is portable
And 3 in 1
You can play, listen to music and watch videos
But not all the time
You can play with another person

Considering the fact
That I'll be bringing it at the Burg
I thought of having a new PS2
Will bring more enjoyment
Not only to me
But to all of us (my roommates)

Why not just get my old PS2 repaired?
It has a broken lens
And it would cost me
About Php5,000 to replace it
Almost the same price of a new one

Before this vacation ends
I must finish this program
There would be no excuses
If I won't be able to finish this

This to all the FreeStyle Playas out there
Who just keep on talkin' and braggin'
That's why they ain't winnin'

Its been months since I left
Wondered how much I got left
Hit the court again
And boy I still got my game
Drilling threes from time to time
Cutting the lanes
Dishing to my team mates
Making them look like a pro

Playa don't get lazy when I'm around
Or else you'll be seing that ball back in my hand
My player has one of the sharpest hands
Better pass it before I steal it
Don't get cocky when you get pass me
Or I'll guarantee your shot will be swatted by me

I don't usually do this
But I can definitely
Do the things that I've said
Not like the other Playas out there
Who just keep on talking but got no game

I'm still one of the best individual players
Still beating anyone who challenges me
I don't care if your level is way higher than mine
But you'll see your skills are way lower than mine

It doesn't matter
Because I'm still winning

RTP#4: Live and Grow

This is about a thing
That eventually came into my mind
And after realizing it
I find it really interesting

Here it goes

Hundreds of experiences
Which does not last forever
And sometimes even after getting married
After a few years they get divorced

In my point of view
The only reason to this
Is for us to grow as a person

And also I also found out
That it is the same reason
Why people just like me
Are single for a long time

Because I am still growing independently
And even though I want someone to be with me
Maybe it is really not yet the right time for it
And I just got to be patient
Eventually that time would arrive

And when it arrives
This time around
I can say that I am ready

Ready to influence my partner
And make her a better person
Treat her as special as a diamond
Be there for her at times that she needs the most
Through the good times and the bad times
I will definitely be there for her

We will share every special moment together
Even though we are unsure if we would last forever

EP#13: It Starts Now

I am referring to my Christmas vacation
One week and 3 days ahead than the others

No more long homeworks
No more difficult quizzes
No more lazy school days
No more sleepy discussions
No more school days.. for now

So with all that inactive

What's going to happen
How am I going to spend my vacation
What is going to keep me busy

Here's a list of stuffs that I will surely be doing this vacation:

This is about
The mini-reunion
Of my HS classmates
Where we are going to watch

At first we are 5

Friday I asked Roi
If he and Lhie is going to come
He said No, because Lhie has a fever
and they won't be able to come

Then upto Saturday
There were 3 of us
Until Alex pulled out on Monday morning

Then 2 of were left
Me and Kim
We still pursued to it
But we went to SM Bacoor
Instead of MOA

Well we arrived at 2PM
And the next showing
Is still at 3:40PM
So we still need to kill some time
We first went at Tom's World
Where Kim played her "bisyo"
The 1 Peso Machine

Then we finshed at 2:15PM I think
We started walking around the mall
And around and around

I told her that we must avoid
The fourth floor near Tacomio
Because it's my Aunt's business
So if she'll see me together
With a girl and there's only two of us
She might make some sort of an issue
About it, and I don't like that

So while chatting
We're still walking around
Until I asked Kim
To go and do Videoke
Then it was around 3:00PM
When we arrived at the videoke room
So we pnly biguht 6 tokens
For us to still make
It on the movie on time

I won 92-90 (our highest scores)
:D

Then after it
We headed to the
Department store
And looked for Yannie
Kim's friend
She's together with her
Two daughters (I forgot their names)

We all went and watched Twilight

It was Me, Kim, Yannie and her two daughters
So we're back to five again :D

I didn't like the movie that much
It was ok, but not that good

*//Despite it became only the two of us
in the end, well I still had a great time
it's like we still lacked time there's still
s lot to share about but 5-6 hours isn't enough
maybe, we'll do it next time but with more
friends with us, hopefully..//*

EP#11: Honesty Pays Off

Well this is about
The following day
Where I went to my professor
And asked about the defense
That I missed

I went to school at 2PM
Because I'm also
Going to see JC
Because he has my laptop

At 2:50PM I started
Looking for my prof
I first checked out
Her office at N107
She is not there
So I went up
To her other office
She's not there also
Starting to get worried
That maybe she's not around
But I went back at N107
Still she's not there
But on my way out
I saw her on the
Room beside N107
The UNIX Laboratory

Then she let me enter
And immediately she asked
"Oh ano nangyari sayo?"
I then replied (I'm always smiling)
"Eh ma'am di po ako nagising eh"
She replied "Ungas ka!! (she's always like that :D)"
Then followed it up "Bakit.? Nagkasakit ka.?"
I said "Hindi naman po, pano ma'am noong Tuesday ung take-home quiz niyo
tapos nung Wednesday MP naman, 6:00AM na nga po kami
natapos ng MP eh. Tapos pag dating ko po sa bahay
natulog lang po aq, tapos nagising po aq 5:30PM na.
Actually ma'am, kinabahan nga po ako kasi di po nila
maaccess yung laptop ko eh, kasi di po nila nabigay yung
password ko."

She answered "Ah ok na yun, alam ko naman na gumawa ka talaga
doon sa MP niyo eh, at nung tinanong ko naman yung mga kasama
mo sabi din naman nila na tumulong ka."

Then we talked about
The practical exam
That I missed
We scheduled it Saturday
But unfortunately, she can't accomodate me
But I still came
I then requested
If she can move it on Tuesday
She said Ok

EP#10: The Longest Nap

Last Teusday night
I made my take-home quiz
For my C# subject
That is to be submitted
The following day

At around 4:00 AM
I felt like giving up
But I managed to come out
With a solution to my quiz

Then at 5:00AM
I prepared my things
And got ready
To leave Cavite
And head to Manila

I was only able to sleep
When I was in the bus
Almost 45 minutes only

Fortunately, my quiz on Calculus
Was turned to a take-home quiz
To be submitted on Monday
Plus I didn't much have problems
In my English class and C# Lec

Lucky break for me

But one problem is our MP

In our programming subject
Failure to accoomplish this and defend this
Means you will definitely fail the subject

MP is a program
That is to be constructed by us
And defended by us on the defense day//*

Our MP is not yet finished (Wednesday)
And the defense day is today (Thursday)
So we decided to stay at JC's place
And finish it there
So I was not able to sleep again
For the second consecutive day

We left JC's at 6:40AM
And I arrived at the Burg at 7:40AM
From the moment I've arrived
And setting my alarm to 9:00AM
I decided to take a "Nap"

But this "Nap" is the longest nap ever
I woke up at 5:30PM
I missed my defense
It's like all because of that nap

Immediately I called JC
And asked about the defense
He said it turned out pretty well

And regarding me
Who missed the defense
He said that I'll be able to defend
If I'll give a valid reason
Why I failed to come on defense day

Which my reason
Is I failed to wake up
On the right time
Which in all angles
I think is won't be accepted

But I will not make alibis or so
But instead I will go
To my professor tomorrow
And honestly I would tell her

"Mam, I was not able to go to the defense day yesterday
because I woke up at 5:30PM, because I was sleepless
these past two days, because I made the tale-home quiz
that you gave last Teusday nght and we finished our MP
last Wednesday night"

I hope that she would give me a chance
Even if I have to defend our program alone

And I hope that my honesty
Would be enough to earn that chance

Right now I'm still regreting
That NAP that I took
I'm thinking I should not have taken a nap
But what can I do
My body is restless for two days

And right now I just can't do anything else about it

EP#9: Ne-Yo "The Gentleman" @ Megamall

Well I don't know that he'll be there
But because I got lost at Megamall
Looking for the FX terminal to Pasig
I passed by the stage in Mega A
I saw that Ne-Yo is coming
That afternoon

So when I asked
How could I enter
The receptionist said
That I only have to buy
2 of Ne-Yo's albums for 700php

I have the money
But I hesitated for a while
But finally decided to go for it

EP#8: Twice is Enough

Its about my Drawing subject
Which I failed to pass
On my first take
Because I failed
To comply with the requirements

So I took it agian this term
But this time I always pass
All my homework
And always attend my class

In this class
We were asked to submit
A research about
One, Two, and Three Point perspectives
It should be 30 pages
But here's the twist
It should be handwritten (Engineering Lettering)
It was given almost a month
Before the deadline
But being the "Crammer" that I am
I did it just the night
Before the deadline
Literally I was not to get any sleep
But I only managed to finish 18 Pages
I'm still lacking 12 Pages
But I still passed it

But I'm also lacking
Two assignments
So I planned to do it last night
But unfortunately I was so tired
That I did not do it
But I planned to wake up at 5AM
But I woke up at 6AM instead
My class will start at 7:30AM
I was able to finish one assignment
In 50 minutes
After bathing I went to school already
Still missing one assignment

Here we are computing our grades
As I've recieved the computation sheet
The equivalents for the final grade
Are also indicated on the paper
Which shows that 70.00 is the passing mark

The computation is like this

70% - Plates
20% - HomeWorks
10% - Research

Total of 100%

What I got is

48.77% - Plates
12.71% - HomeWorks (with 1 missing)
7.60% - Research (with 12 missing pages)

Total of 69.08% (including Additional Points)
I wrote in the final grade box 5 (very light)

I was shocked
I need 0.92% to pass
So I did not pass my computation
When the professor asked us to
But I went to her at the faculty room
To tell her about my grade
And maybe we can do something about it

But while waiting for her
Some of my classmates
Were also waiting for her
Then I asked one of them
That is the passing is really 70%
He replied that it is only 68%

Still I've waited for my prof
To confirm it
When she arrived
I asked her about it
Then she said
"68(%) ang passing"
I replied "So mam 3.00(passing grade) po ang grade ko?"
She said "Yes"

After that I immediately
Replaced my score in the Final Grade box
With a very bold 3.00

On the way home
I can't take this smile on my face
I just can't believe
That I still managed to pull it off

EP#7-4: Rihanna-Chris Brown Experience Part 4

Part 4 - Post-Concert Happenings

After the concert
Around 11:30PM
I, T-Tel and Chito
Headed back to Bonifacio High Street
To sit because our legs are so tired

Then there we were not able to contact
T-Tin or Kuya Marvin immediately
Then after a while they said
That they are in the parking lot
Beside the vendo machine

As we walk to the place
I noticed the cars aren't moving
I already expected this to happen

So we went to the car
And tried to leave
But literally the traffic isn't moving
So we just went outside again

T-Tin is starting to get frustrated
(Maybe due to fatigue)
Well she wants to stay somewhere
That we could sit and airconditioned
But we were not able to find any place
Beacause almost all of the places
That we have in mind are all full

Then at around 1:00AM
T-Tin told us (Me and T-Tel)
To accompany Chito to Market-Market
And check if there's a jeepney
That could send Chito home

When we arrived there
There were no PUJs available
But we saw a Mini Stop
So we told T-Tin
That we will going to wait
There for them

At 1:40AM my cellphone rang
And it was T-Tin
She was like yelling at me
But she's just saying
That they are already there
In front of Market Market

I as well is tired
I mean all of us are
But why act like that
Its ruining the great night

I arrived back at the Burg
At almost 2:30AM
Then just brushed my teeth
Then went to sleep already

Part 3- Rihanna

Sorry for the delay
Been busy for quite some time
But unfortunately the concert
Was a few weeks ago
So this post
Would not be as detailed
Like from the previous posts

After Chris Brown's part of the concert
There was almost an hour of intermission
Which included a 15 minute firework display
Then the rest of the time
Nothing is happening
Peple are just standing
Some are sitting
Waiting for the stage setup to finish
And for Rihanna to show up and perform

Rihanna started things off
With her song Disturbia
She came from below the stage
And wearing a black dress
(similar to what she's wearing at the music video)
And just her undies plus boots I think

At some point she sang Unfaithful
She was very emotional while singing that song
You can see her eyes becoming teary

Then she also sang Hate that I Love You
Where I expected Ne-Yo to show up with his vtr
But it didn't happen
But instead all the time
She was singing with her
Front backup vocalist

*//Slightly dissapointed but it's fine//*

She also performed
Please Don't Stop the Music
And Take a Bow

The finale is a duet
Between the two of them (Rihanna and Chris Brown)
The crowd went loud here
Especially on the concluding parts
Where CB and Rihanna are getting sweeter

When we arrived
The countdown
For Chris Brown's entrance
Just started

When it went to 0
The crowd screamed so loud
Then Chris Brown came from the top

Then he started off

It's only in the beginning
That the crowd went loud
And during the times
That he's doing his dance moves

So I can't state the titles of the other
songs that he sang//*

He followed it up
With a couple of songs
Which I both
Don't know the titles

on the stage in one of the songs//*

Then a little intermission came
The DJ played a few non-Chris Brown songs

In The Ayer *//The crowd put their hands up as the DJ said it//*
Closer*//I and the crowd sang together like it's Ne-Yo's concert//*

Then Chris Brown came back
He sang few songs that I don't know

Then there was Run It
The crowd did not respond
Through out the song
But at some point they did

Then he sang No Air
The crowd went loud again
And really sang with him

Next is Kiss Kiss
The crowd is dancing here
And came T-Pain's part
He has a VTR that he's singing his part
That made it cooler
The crowd's didn't went that loud as expected
Then here comes
The instant classic With You
The crowd is singing
Throught this song
It really brought the house down

Then he ended he's performance
With his most recent single, Forever
Just like in With You
The 70,000 attendants
Responded very well

Then after taking a bow
He took his shirt off
Boom!! The girls screamed so loud
Then Chris Brown left the stage

*//I was not that impressed on his voice
I find the recorded version better, but
his dancing is really good. So its not that bad
after all. But I he's really not that good in getting
the attention of the crowd, he still needs to exert
effort just to get the crowd going. But he's still
well appreciated by the crowd//*

EP#7-1: Rihanna-Chris Brown Experience Part 1

Part 1- From Nine to Three

Today is the day
November 16, 2008
The best 2 in 1 Concert of the year
Is held at the Bonifacio Global Open Field
Featuring the awesome couple
Chris Brown and Rihanna

Around 2:00 PM we already went
To Bonifacio High Street
To get a near parking to the venue

The concert will start at 8:00PM
So we still have to wait
For quite some time

But we went to Market Market
And spent the whole afternoon
Walking around the mall
Then had an ice cream
And lastly had dinner
At Kenny Rogers

Around 7:00PM
We left Market Market
And went to Serendra to meet
Kuya Marvin's friend
Then to Bonifacio High Street
To meet his other friends

Then about half hour early
We went to the venue

There are two entances
For those with the Bronze tickets
Which is our ticket

We immediately went
To the first entrance
The one which is nearer

And there's nine of us
Who's going to watch
So we grouped ourselves into three

I was with T-Tel
And Dondie a.k.a Chito (my cousin)


T-Tel showed her bag
To the security gurad
For inspection

Then the guard asked her
To get rid of her perfume
Yeah, that's right
No perfumes allowed inside
But I'm still wondering WHY?

So we asked for the car keys from T-Tin
And went back to leave her perfume
In the car instead of surrendering it

It took us 10 minutes I think
To get back to the car

Went back to the car//*

And on our way back to the venue
It caught our attention
That the emcee is already talking
So we started to hurry
And here we are again
At the nearer Bronze entrance
But we were asked by the guards
To proceed to the other entrance
Which is more distant from the stage

Its from the nine of us
To the three of us

Then looking for our spot
I looked for a good place

EP#6: Take a Look

I've been living at the Burg
For 5 months I think
Our unit's number is 1211

During my first month
The unit beside us 1210
Is vacant until my second month
Someone occupied it
As I've heard from my roommates
Our neighbors are siblings
But at first we thought
It was 2 girls but its one guy and a girl

But somethings kinda weird
Because they do not open their windows
Even though it is hot sometimes
So I haven't have a chance to see them

Moving on to what happened earlier

Around 6 o'clock in the evening
I heard a very loud police siren
And it played for about 10 minutes

I was watching TV
And I am shirtless
Because all of us there are boys
So its fine to be shirtless at times

I got curious of what's happening
So I stood up and looked through the window
Then I didn't saw anything unusual
Until there's this one guy
In the unit 1210 our neighbors' unit
I knew that he's only a friend of our neighbors
Because I already saw my neighbors
I still don't know them though

Then this guy looked at me
Through their window
And still I'm shirtless
I just ignored him
Then I went to the fridge
*//The fridge is cannot be seen through

But I was shocked
When he kept peeking
Through the window
And I think trying to glance at me

I was like Oh my, he might be gay
Then I wore a shirt and took my cap
Because Peping and I are about to leave

Then I went back watching TV
Then I caught him still looking
Then he called someone over
And its a girl
Which he also asked to look at me

Pretending that I'm not seeing them
And busy packing my laptop
While watching TV

I just let them look :D
Then I told Peping
There's this guy that keeps looking at me
We just laughed at it

Then when me and Ping left
The 1210's door also opened
And its our neighbor also going down

RP#1: Facebook- Scrabble

I was invited by Rica
To play scrabble in Facebook
But we we're not able
To go against each other

But I did checked it out
And it is pretty cool
Because you can just join someone and play

So I just joined any game

In my first game
I won 278 is my score
Feeling good and confident
I joined a different match

But unfortunately
It became the start
Of my losing streak

I think I lost 5 straight
Then won a game
Then lost again a couple times

If you are just joining a game
You won't be able to be the first to go
And in Scrabble
If you are to go first
You can definitely get a head start
From the opposition

Because number 1 : You can name any word you want
And the better part of it: You'll get the double word score bonus

So I came up with this

I stopped joining a game
But instead I created my own game
But also you can exit the game
Without any penalty
If you're not on your second turn

So that would mean
If you don't like the letters
You can cancel the game
And then create a new one

Then after I did that I only lost twice
In Seven or more games
And I was able to beat
My previous high score
And went from 278 to 366 :D

Its all about knowing the rules
And breaking it a little :D

RTP#2: Programming is like Writing

I am a Computer Engineering student
And I've already learned one programming language which is the C++
And now currently taking up higher C++, also known as the C#

Programming is not about memorizing
Its all about developing your logic

My professors usually say
Once its fully developed
You can solve any problems
That would be given to you

No matter what prgramming language you're going to use
Its Logic who stands out above the rest

Now Writing

There are lots of things to write about
Experiences, Movies, Songs, Current Events and many more

Just like in programming

When you keep on writing
You're developing something

That's why I consider writing a skill

Like me

I started writing poems
Way back when I'm in 3rd year HS
I was able to write in both English and Tagalog languages

But I really prefer using English

But I'm a Filipino why choose English
Well first of all
Its easier in the sense that you've got a lot of words to choose from
Unlike in Tagalog the other terms are so deep
That you'll be needing a shovel to dig it out :D

I was able to write several poems
About love, friends and my classmates

I stopped writing
Until I became a band member
I was their keyboardist
I wrote a bunch of lyrics
But of course as expected
Our band will break up
After graduation

Well I stopped writing again
After a year
I was inspired by a girl
Who became my girlfriend
But it only lasted
About a month and a half

To write again
Well I usually tell girls
That I write poems and things like that
And most of them really find it impressive

So everytime I'm into a girl
I become inspired to write
I dedicate it to her of course

Wrote for a couple of months
Then we were given a project
In our Filipino class last term
To make a poem out of the given story

Being the shy person that I am
I did not present myself at first
But when my groupmate stood up
And she said to us that she'll
Be requesting for my professor
To change our project
From a poem to singing a song

I immediately volunteered myself
That I will do the writing for the group

Pressure is on me

Now this is a first
Because I always write about
My experinces and my feelings

I have not wrote about
Others, and especially from stories

I was able to make it
Its a long story
So I've made a 22 stanza poem
Which consist of 4 lines each

I revised it
I connected 2 stanzas
Followed by a stanza
And then 2 stanzas agian
That's how patterend it
So it would look shorter

A meeting before the presentation
I was able to give it my classmate
So I did not attended when the presentation day arrived

I was thinking I've done my part

Then when the grades where given
Our group got a perfect score
Because of me the man behind that poem :D

I was surpirsed
Because its my first time
To write a narrative poem
And also its in Tagalog
And a perfect score is what we got
And for once the quiet guy
Was recognized by the many


Going back to how programming is similar to writing

From my experience on writing
I think even though I eventually stop
At some point
I don't lose my touch
Its like the logic that you develop in programming

Once you've earned it
It will always be there

EP#5: Wrong Timing

Well the day has arrived
The day that my sister
Will introduce me to "this girl"
(sorry guys can't spill out her name):D

Well this girl is my co-member
Of my community (BLD Youth)

So there is where
I'll formally be introduced
To this girl

Me and my sis
Arrived very early
I thought this girl
Would not come
But she came

She noticed me
I stood up
Because she was also tall
Almost as tall as me

Well she went in
But immediately went to the CR
With her friend

Then after a couple of minutes
She and her friend came out
While she's talking to someone
My sis all of sudden
Introduced me to her friend
And technically to this girl

But this girl is talking to someone
So she's not paying attention
What my sister said
And I guess
She still does not know me by now

Before going home
Me and my sis were going to MOA
Because we're going to grocery

And to my surprise
My sis said
That this girl and her friend
Will be accompanying us
On the way to MOA

EP#4: Bad to Worse to Worst?

Last Wednesday night at 11PM
I started doing my first final report in my COE115L
Which is all about the Video Card

Well one final report should require the following
*a title page
*discussion of the experiment (2 pages)
*conclusion/remarks
*data results
-answered questions from the book
-and the rubric

Note: * should be written using an Engineering Lettering

So it took me a while to do the discussion and the title page
And after doing it I slept already
I left my final report unfinished
But I woked up very early at 7:30AM
After having a breakfast
I resumed on doing my final report
And I was able to finish it at 9:30AM

But here's the twist
There is still one more final report
That I must accomplish
Same requirements, but its about the Hard Disk Drive

I was able to finish it at 11:15AM
But without the Conclusion
And there is also one big problem
For each report we have this orange thing
That is to be placed on the left side of the paper
It would look like a slide
Just like in the sliding folder
Problem is I ran out of that orange
And I don't have much time to go to buy some

Time is becoming a huge factor
Still I played it calm
I thought of a way
But I only acquired one orange
That I took from my previous report
Still in need of another one
I've became resourceful
By cutting from a plain bond paper
And colored it orange using a crayon
It doesn't look good

I think I would only get a grade of 40 or less
I was able to finish attaching the orange
Around 11:30AM
Deadline is 12:00PM
Knowing my professor
He won't accept late reports

Unable to take a bath this morning (took it before going to sleep)
Unable to brush my teeth
Unable to put on deo

I just put on my jeans
Then my shoes
Then took my cap
Plus my final reports
And a 2 pieces of I-Cool

(eew... gross)

I rushed to the elevator
And once I got in the FX
I tried to do the Conclusion
That I am lacking
But the FX is too shaky
Plus the driver always stops to try to get passengers
Plus the traffic
I arrived at school exactly 12:30PM

Knowing that my professor would not accept
My final reports anymore
I only went to my classroom
And thought of a plan

Here it goes
I planned of telling my professor
When he asks for my final reports on Tuesday
That I was sick last Thursday (that I am not)
That's why I wasn't able to pass it

I know there's only a slim chance
That my "excuse" will be accepted

So if it won't be accepted
I just have to make the next reports perfectly

Well another thing that I must do is to avoid that professor
From seeing me in school
But his classroom is only located
Next to ours
We are neighbors every Thursdays
So as I saw him walking to his room
I rushed and went to the canteen
To avoid him
And I bought an ice cream
After buying my ice cream
I returned to my room
Slowly, like a ninja
And I first went to the CR
To get a better view if he's outside the room
After checking if its clear
I then rushed to my farthest classmate from his room
And sitted and hid beside him

(whew.. that was close)

So I really have a class at 12:00PM
Also a COE subject
But not COE115L

And my professor didn't arrive
Thank God!!!
Because we are going to have an practical exam
If she came, but she didn't
It would make this day the worst
Because I wasn't able to study for it

I thought this would be a very bad day

But even with a slight relief
I've still got a lot to do
Such as doing my Calculus assignment
And studying for my quiz tomorrow

A short prayer before I sleep:
Thank you Lord God, despite the bad day
You kept my cool and I was able to stay calm
During the pressured situations
And I hope that I would be able
To convince my professor to accept
The final reports that I've failed to submit
Help me to perform well tomorrow
And keep me safe and my family as well
All these I ask in Your most Holy Name

EP#3: 7.22 KB/SEC

I've accessed the internet in Nitro.Net thrice this week

My first time surfing there wasn't a pretty good experience
Because I find the speed very slow
Given that I am in a computer shop
I was quite expecting a faster internet speed than in my house
And to make things even worse
Every 10minutes - 15minutes you'll be eventually disconnected
How did I knew that
Easy, I am logged in on the YM
Then all of a sudden I became offline
Frustrating as it seems but it is the nearest internet shop from the Burg

So the next day I came back and same thing happened

But the following day Wednesday
I am the only customer in Nitro.Net at the moment
So I'd expected a faster connection than the previous days
But to my surprise
While downloading a DotA map
I checked the transfer rate
And it averages 7.22KB/SEC ONLY
Compared to 47KB/SEC in my house
So it took me more than 10 minutes to download
The DotA ver 56+AI
With a size of 3.51MB

To top it all
The one who is running the Nitro.Net
Is aware of these problems
But only remedies it
And does not fix it

Tsk tsk tsk
Ain't cool men

Well just got to look for another computer shop
With a FASTER INTERNET CONNECTION SPEED
That isn't too far away from the Burg

EP#2: I'm Proud I Realized

On the way home from Alabang

In the car with my mom and two sisters
Looking through the window
Thinking about my activities for the week

Something came to my mind

It is what I've become lately
Doing things that I dont usually do (smoking and drinking)
Prioritizing wrong things (DotA before studying)

I realized I've changed

Too bad its not for better but for worse

Thank God for letting me realize my mistake
Yes, I've got tempted and submitted to it

Of course it will come and come again
But to avoid it is what I must do

And I also realized
That it is a misconception
To do bad things to look good

Like smoking and drinking

Bad activities
But doing it will make you look "COOL"

Again I'm ready for a change
Not because of anyone
But for my own sake

This time it would be for the better
And better quit such things while its early

RTP#1: Love is worth a gazillion words

Let me start this with my personal defintion of love, which is "love is like a picture it is worth a thousand words". I came up with that through my observations. I mean ask a grade scholl pupil "What is love?". I bet he/she would answer, "love is blind" or "Love is like a rosary it is full of mysteries" its a common answer but still you heard an answer. Those are'nt frequently used for nothing, "love is blind" is actually turned into a fairy tale its "Beauty and the Beast" and it also happens in real life, "love is like a rosary it is full of mysteries" of course its true self explanatory right? But so much for that my point is if you'll be asking everyone what love is they will always come up with an answer, and their answers would be different to each other and for some coincidentally it could be the same, whether its a 7yr old or a 107yr old you're asking they would give you an answer.

Imagine how many words would define love if you are going to compile each definition from each person, I was wrong at first when I said it worth a thousand words but after writing this come to think of it there love could be expressed in gazillion words, so I came up with my new definition "Love is like a photo album full of pictures that would be composed of not thousands but gazillion words."

And if that word "Love" is worth a gazillion words already how much more would be added if you're going to place I and You..

EP#1: Not sleepy at 3 am?

I wonder if someone regularly sleeps at 10:30 pm would not be sleepy till 3:00 am..

Okay lets name her "Coops"

I think Coops is planning to do something that she can only do this late, like talking to her "boyfriend" via phone or throught the internet and I serve as the obstacle to her because I am still awake, but I am awake because I am still waiting for Sis to come home from a party. Well I was the one assigned to that so I have the privelage to stay up all night if I have to, but earlier I am feeling very sleepy, so I asked Coops if she could wait instead of me, and clearly she answered "No.!", then I am still waiting and Coops is still awake at 3:00 am then she said that she would wait for Sis, I cant believe this I am keeping my self awake to wait for Sis and that is what Coops is going to tell me, why not earlier when I asked her damn it.!

I am still awake with Coops and I said to her to sleep already numerous times and how did she react.. Oh boy, she did nothing as if she did not hear me,. I started to be pissed by her not following I am only showing my concern to her and yet I became the enemy instead.

If she is planning something

I'd rather be the bad guy for her but I am fighting for what is right and I wont let her succeed on what she's up to..
